My good friend Katherine is pregnant with her third baby, and she is about ready to pop! We went to a fabulous park in west edmonton and took some (in my humble opinion!) great photos. Niobe is now four and Tristan is two and they are very used to my camera which makes my job somewhat easier. The whole family did a great job considering the multitude of mosquitos and the thunderstorm which hit just as we were finishing. Can’t wait to hear what you guys all think of these!

Baby Avery – Calgary Newborn Photographer

Baby Avery was 15 days old in these photos and in typical newborn fashion could not decide what she wanted to do. She slept…she cried…she ate…she cried…she slept….and she peed….but boy did she ever look cute. These photos make it all worthwhile and make me love my job. Avery will never be this small again and I got to capture it forever and thank you so much Rene and Josh for trusting me to do that. I can’t wait to hear what you guys think of these ones!

Steph and Lloyd…Calgary Wedding Photographer

In my travels to Calgary a few weeks ago I met with one of my sisters best friends Steph and her finace Lloyd. They are getting married at the Calgary Zoo (awesome!!) next year and we wanted to do some engagement photos this summer to celebrate. We walked from their house to some beautful gardens close by and hoped that the sun would come out and play. We were very lucky, the sun shone and so did the love the Steph and Lloyd have for each other. They are a very fun-loving happy couple and I can’t wait for their wedding. Rene and Josh have a little one on the way and they are sooooo excited! We found a wonderful location in Calgary (with the help of my sister ) nice old buildings, tall tall grass, and so much prettyness! Wonderful! This couple were troopers with all the mosquitos and the threat of rain, but their happiness shines through and I am so happy with the result. Can’t wait to hear what you all think!

Last weekend I travelled to Calgary for a weekend packed full of photo shoots! My first stop was Airdre to see the Freckleton family. You must remember Francis from his oh so cute newborn photos and his even cuter 4 month photos! Well now he is 9 months old and he is adorable!! Tutu’s, bunnies and cuddles…Oh My!

I travelled to Calgary to photograph baby Alexa again and we had a few hours full of tutu’s, purple bunnies, yellow duck, and sleepy time…oh yeah and some crying! Alexa was a but grumpy at first but got right into and then full in the most beautiful deep baby sleep. I hope you enjoy the new props that we played with and the georgeously plump baby Alexa!
